The Answer Model Online Courses & Level 1 Certification Program
Welcome to The Answer Model online courses and Certification Program! The Answer Model courses can be taken individually for Continuing Education Credit, or as a whole to complete The Answer Model Level 1 Certification Program (21 Continuing Education Units - CEUs - or Hours in total).
The Level 1 courses introduce both the theoretical and therapeutic aspects of The Answer Model. Further details, particularly about how to use the therapeutic method in practice, will be provided in an upcoming Level 2 program, which will involve both online courses and live hands-on workshops during specific weekends. After completing the Level 1 course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for this level. However, completion of the upcoming Level 2 courses will be required for actual certification in The Answer Model method. Level 3 courses will provide the highest level of training in the method. More details about the Level 2 and Level 3 programs will be announced in the near future.

The Answer Model is licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences to provide continuing education for Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (PCE #4505), and by NAADAC to provide continuing education for Alcohol and Drug Abuse counselors nationally (Provider #790). The Answer Model also meets guidelines for providing continuing education for MFTs, social workers, substance abuse counselors, and psychologists in the states of Arizona and Utah, as well as many other states.
TY (Theory) and TM (Therapeutic Method) Courses in The Answer Model Level 1 Certification Program include video presentations, pdf downloads of slides used for the course videos, tests for each course, and forums for discussions. Please note that prices for courses using The Answer Model books do not include the price of the books, which must be purchased separately. Please also note that all purchases of the courses are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Although you are free to take these courses in whatever order you like (if you take them individually), we suggest that, as an introduction to The Answer Model, you first take the Introduction to The Answer Model Theory course (TY #1), or The Answer Model: A new path to healing (book) course. Following that, the recommended course is Therapeutic Method Introduction (TM #1). After taking these introductory courses, we recommend that you take the Therapeutic Method (TM #1-9) courses, and the Theory (TY #1-5) courses in sequence. The Answer Model Theory (book) course can be taken at any time. Please be aware that the theory is a vital part of the counseling or therapeutic method.
After viewing the videos for each course, or reading each of the two books, you will need to take a short test to receive credit for the course. You will need to receive a grade of 70% or higher on each test to pass, and may take the test multiple times at no extra charge if you don't pass on your first attempt.
