1. describe how both food and sex addiction hijack the survival instincts through the stress response.
2. explain why feelings of "less than" can, because of our hunter-gatherer heritage, trigger states of "survival mode."
3. utilize as an intervention the concept of "neural antibodies" and how they can help to break down addiction "alters."
